Equalworks Pre-ETS Program aims to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to achieve their employment goals and thrive in their chosen careers.
OVERVIEW
Equalworks Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) are designed to support high school students with disabilities in their transition from school into adult life. To pave the way for employment, Pre-ETS services offer vocational exploration, hard and soft skills training, and competitive, integrated vocational experiences for high school students aged 14 through 21 (up to their 22nd birthday).
Pre-ETS staff employ a person-centered approach to support youth in achieving integrated community employment. This begins with an introductory meeting and initial screening for each student, during which staff collect information on individual interests, skills, abilities, and support needs. This information is used to develop a comprehensive support plan tailored to each student.
